Quepoa Expeditions is a smaller personalized whitewater river rafting company based out of Quepos, Costa Rica, just minutes from the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park and its spectacular beaches.
Updated June 22nd, 2010
Rafting season is in full swing here in South Pacific Costa Rica. We had some high water and strong winds a few weeks ago, but now everything is back to normal in Manuel Antonio. The most exciting action is only a half hour away on the Rio Naranjo (class IV), and costs only $65 per person!
Or head deep into the rainforest and check out the beautiful Rio Savegre, with numerous class III rapids and bigger roller coaster type waves. Improvements to the road have shaved a few hours driving time off the tour. The 8:00 trip has been getting back around 2 PM.
Check the gauges tab for current weather information.
We are still offering sea kayaking in our more comfortable inflatable kayaks (Duckys) that are stable and easy to get in and out of so you can enjoy snorkeling as well. Contact us for more details.
The Manuel Antonio area of Costa Rica is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. Quepoa Expeditions is an outdoor adventure company intent on sharing its knowledge of the amazing wildlife and natural environment around us. Our guides are also expert river runners, and we invite you to challenge the rapids with us.
Hey Brad--
Susan and I want to thank you and Jose and the rest of the guys for such a wonderful experience. The rafting trip was the best excursion above all others for sure. We hope to make it back there sometime next year and we will for sure look you guys up.
Pura Vida.

Costa Rica! Pura Vida
Does it get any better?
Since 1996 I have been professionally guiding river trips throughout the United States, Costa Rica, and Europe. I have been exploring the rivers of Costa Rica since 1999. These tropical rivers have captured my heart and soul, and operating this adventure company is the dream of a lifetime. I think you will have the time of your life running one of these enchanting rivers, and I look forward to sharing the little piece of paradise I have found with you.
Sincerely,
