Quepoa Expeditions is a smaller personalized whitewater river rafting company based out of Quepos, Costa Rica, just minutes from the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park and its spectacular beaches.

It is dry season in South Pacific Costa Rica, and the best way to escape the heat is to spend a day on one of the refreshing mountain rivers just minutes away.   Low water conditions are safe for children, and the freshly paved Costanera Highway shaves an hour of driving time off the trip to the Rio Savegre.

Low water also makes it possible for adventure seekers to try their hand at inflatable kayaking (Duckys).  No experience is necessary, but you should be up for an adventure, and ready to take a few swims!

We are also running the class IV/V Upper Naranjo Canyon (Chorro) this season.  This section of the Rio Naranjo is only runnable in the dry season, and is one of the most magnificent and challenging sections of whitewater in the country.  Minimum recommended age for this section is 14, and previous rafting experience is required.

We also offer sea kayaking in our more comfortable inflatable kayaks (Duckys) that are stable and easy to get in and out of so you can enjoy snorkeling as well. Contact us for more details about snorkeling and kayaking.
